Dropped out but did a 2yr degree. I lost all motivation and just didnt take a test. Dont even care anymore. Had like a 3.1 gpa but I give 0 fucks. Needed 12 more classes. Oh well.

How financially fucked am I?
I see some decent gov jobs asking for just some associates degree of any kind and they pay good... but the catch is they are government jobs i.e hard to get.

I have 0 debt at least... I make a little over 14 an hr right now. I live in southern cali. Really only want like 40k. Shit even costco cashiers make like 25ish an hr as a cap...

So... red pill me on how fucked I am without a bachelors...

I regret not just doing some easy liberal arts one like history.. even a shit bachelors is better than no bachelors.

Ik people woth good jobs and they majored in easy crap.

I also know someone who dropped at doing 3 years of electrical or mechanical engineering and they are fucked...

Funny.. a shit bachelors is worth more than an 3/4ths an engineering one..

So, just tell me the truth.

What is Haircomb? You may be wondering, but this little gem is like no other.
It does not even use ECDSA which is quantum prone and replaces it with what?
A pure SHA256 that secures Bitcoin mining for more than 10 years. The results
are promising. Remember mimblewimble? It uses pedersen commitments for anonymity
but Natasha invented that pure hashlocks again are sufficient for this purpose.

What's the price? 10 million sats? Haha, no, we're giving it away nearly for
free to early adopters. Only 546 sats per claim. Mining fees apply.

Like basically I misunderstood something and emailed the instructor.

Honestly, school was depressing me too much anyways. Imagine 1 more yr of pissing my youth away feeling depressed the whole time? Is that really how I want to live out my youth? Like sure, I wont be able to get a little over 35% of jobs (35% of new job openings will ask for a bachelors and even the one's asking gor associates sometimes want specific associates degrees meaning mine would be no good).

Welp... all I can hope is I can land a gov job eventually like as some security guard or some bullshit. Or maybe since I did the associates in the electrical trade, I can possibly find a job in a railroad... idk. I usually get no responses when I apply so I guess I am totally fucked.

If you are not paying for it, don't drop out.
If you are, fuck yea get out.

It looks good on a resume but it's not a must.
Most jobs now also require certifications + experience + college.
The whole "you need college to get a job" is just a lie teachers tell.
Plenty of opportunity.

Also, these classes im taking are the hardest of the program. Had I just survived this, it would have been somewhat easy sailings. Oh well.

On one hand, I dont want to be an employee forever anyways and dont strive for a "career". On the other, it was supposed to act as a means of obtaining capital faster and as a back up..

Hey guys. Question..
I see ads of this one dude. Has a masters in finance or some crap. Worked in big name companies too. Helped make companies billions, etc.

He sells courses like at 20 bucks with discounts.. he says he makes the classes less theory based and more so focused on actual real life examples.

Do those classes actually help you get jobs?

>Most jobs now also require certifications + experience + college.
by that I mean, that is what they ask for, they will settle for 1 or even 0. Get friends who will lie for you on a reference and just claim experience.
Like asking 400k and accepting 100k.

I really hope there is. Also, I would have graduated with 15k debt. I say I was a yr away but it could have possibly been 1.5 more years to graduate. Like fuck.. it is so draining.

Please gov.jobs give me a good job!!

alright. Sadly officially dropped out. I live at home cause in cali, I would be living with 0 to invest if I moved out.

Fuck, life sucks. At least I can work on getting certs now.
I will finish a tesol cert to teach english from home to chinese kids. Any recommendations on what else?
I was going to focus a bit on trying to become a school security guard. Now that is chill as fuck..

I regret college tb.h. Wasted my youth for nothing.
I mean the positive side is that 33% of americans over 18 have a bachelors and of those, 44% of 22-27 ye olds are underemployed. Counting all of them, it is like a 32ish underemployment rate. Also, 1/4 college grads make highschool wages.

Basically, I can just pretend I did do a bachelors and am simply underemployed :).
also, with a 2 yr degree, maybe I can eventually find a job that pays 40k. Like fuck though. That is not easy to find.

btw, I feel I wasnt learning shit in college mostly because it had more to do with memorizing pointless shit rather than actually developing skills.

Classes are made artificially harder too by instructors being vague as fuck with what is in exams. Im tired of it.

For some reason though, in the back of my head I feel I will never even make 40k a yr ever (before tax). Even with a 2 yr degree since after 1 yr of graduating and applying, I havent found a decent job with it.

Degrees aren't to signal intelligence, they signal good goy attributes. Do what you're told for three years. In fact if it's insane bullshit then it's an even better sign that you're a good goy that doesn't question things too much. Debt + proven cuck = perfect wage slave.

The "debt" part isn't stressed enough.

One of the first things I noticed when I started working in the trades was that most of these "old dog" business owners the first thing they asked me was whether I had a gf or family or not. Most employers want you to be in a situation where you NEED them because you can't miss a single payment of whatever you obligated yourself to. Whenever you go to work with a brand new car, or tell people you just signed a mortgage for a house your employer will be rubbing hands knowing that he has you grabbed by the balls.

Debt makes people slaves. It's not a meme. That's the only reason why the government started giving student loans.
Did you know that you can't give up your citizenship if you owe money to the government? Really makes you think, huh?

I felt the same way in college, a few years later I realized how insignificant that year was. I'm glad I stuck with school because it landed me a comfortable income and job.
Imagine how much "youth you'll be pissing away" if you're working for mcdicks at 30. Hang in there and finish your schooling.

pathetic. truly pathetic. despite what people say, college is the ultimate prep for the real world.

90% of the "work" assigned doesn't matter.

It's all about networking and making connections.

Making connections means offering others value; whether it be academically, or more likely, through being a fun interesting person to socialize with.

it's mostly bullshit. but the real world is also mostly bullshit. if you can't jump through hoops in college you do not have the mental fortitude to ever make it.

college is EASY MODE compared to the real world. might as well jjst accept being a slave wagie for the rest of your life.

I’m on the verge but I think I’ll still continue. I don’t give a damn about my marks anymore since I sure as hell won’t do a masters. I just want to pass my courses, I fucked up in one course and I might fail so that means I need to do it in the summer. As long as I can finish my degree before I turn 26 I won’t drop out. My motivation is completely drained though and my gpa is surely to drop.

Failing to get that piece of paper is going to cost you a % of earnings each year compared to what you could have earned if you got it. Over the course of a full worklife, this difference may run over a million due to the roles you cant get without without bachelors. You probably just cost yourself over $1 mil cos you wouldnt do 12 subjects. But hey YOLO right
