Soon however people figure out that not that much value is flowing through the network... the only buy pressure is for suckers looking to steak. Soon everyone realizes that the 5% is paid in tezos so you are much better off selling the inflated token and be first out the door before the exit gets crowded and the price craters.

So the same game theory will follow when CL goes to grill town and starts cracking fresh pepper. It will double, triple in price. The smart move will be to jump ship at this point. The question you have to ask though is "what is the value in this network?" If there really are derivatives and insurance contracts being settled on the CL network of oracles then hot dog +800% is not outside of reach. Staking is actually a relatively minor blip on the radar of upcoming announcements. I'd love to tell you more but you simply wouldn't believe me.

Let me just say this:

We are a hell of a lot closer to our goals in the derivatives market than most of you (indeed most of the world) can imagine or would dare to believe.

I don't know how this community (of all communities) managed to pick the winning horse so early and with such a degree of confidence but you couldn't have been more right.

Think about it. Staking without SC ecosystem is useless. Staking presumes that there is a node market ready to be used on all fronts. Unfortunately, we are still too early.

there is no reason to finish yet because there is bigger problems to solve before enterprises even will consider using smartcontracts and chainlink
all that is happening now is like a testrun on small scale
all the nodes and the data pricefeed, the hackaton etc.
meanwhile the link team dont even work at staking or aggregation because they know its not important
they look at the bigger picture and solve more pressing problems like privacy gas scalability zkp
