I agree with your sentiment, but I have browsed that subreddit a lot in the past and it is completely different from the rest of reddit. Reddit justifiably gets a lot of hate because 99% of it is lame as hell and the user base is a bunch of fags, and every "edgy" community there is a wannabe 4chan. WSB has its own personality, it isn't edgy it's real conversation between mostly young men who are risking large percentages of their net worth.

Actually no, Robinhood will probably end up paying fines. They should not have allowed that much margin to be available, and any actual brokerage would've had protections built in. They also shouldn't even been allowing options and margin like they do now- an actual brokerage makes you do paperwork so you understand the risk. Robinhood charges 5 buks a month with no protections. The retards on WSB are barely responsible for themselves in this case.
