Let's get onto some Chinese exchanges.
They propelled BTC to astronomical heights last year, they can do the same for us. We do have a lot of Chinese miners though, so I think this is only a matter of time.
We're on coinverted (probationary), but they sell a lot of shit and that gives us more credibility.
Maybe a new, more professional logo would help too.
We also need to capitalize on our fight against wolong, that's the kind of shit that'd get people interested instantly since some love rooting for the underdog.

To a certain extent using any crypto currency as a worldwide reserve currency would be better than say the dollar or any other fiat currency, as crypto currencies aren't as directly tied to fiat currency price fluctuations.

So, while mining PND, I've been watching my Dogecoin pool to try to see how much Doge I'm missing out on... It hasn't found a block since I started mining PND yet...

Seeing as PND has fulfilled its initial cause we need some fresh ideas to keep the success we've gained with it so far.
Our selling points are
- A history. Keep in mind that no coin this old has a similar story to tell.
- ZOMG No premine.
- True community (paired and backed by serious investors such as myself™).
- A payment processor (coinpayments).
- Multiple exchanges.

We have contact with an actual chinese person that is already out actively shilling it for us through QQ on chinese pools, to chinese people, etc..
Building on that I believe that having appeal for the chinese market seems like the next and best thing to do. If we do it good we could even pull it off like Auroracoin did lately, a Bitcoin for the Chinese.

As I'm not the community, only part of it, I'm hereby proposing a retarget of our efforts which will be directed at China. We have a Panda on the coin btw..

I'm of opinion that we can capitalize a lot on the history, its my first crypto and when I started following the threads when PND was about 2-3 days old the cause was what got me really interested and made me start mining. The whole thing was also huge fun.

Forget about the price for now, we just need people to know about PND and have it. Tip as much as you can to as many people as you can. The demand for stores to accept them will go up if more people have them and THEN they'll become more valuable in the future.

All coins are going down the shitter right now. Trust in cryptos is lost because of the Gox situation. It may be months before we see a rise back to previous levels. The best we can do right now is get as many coins as possible and wait til the next bubble.

I do graphic design with my friend who is going to school for it.
Silver is nice with the minimalistic design. However, as a finished product, there does need to be a lot more going on with the coin face, and I think would be better gold. Human beings are more attracted to interesting things. While that design does look great to you and I (Such Art), the general population wouldn't look at it for more than 3 seconds. We need text around the edge, more foliage...really just a shitton more going on in that graphic. Not a logo, but a picture. Fiat currency doesn't have logos, it has a crazy amount of material on it. You can stare at a USD dollar bill for an hour looking for more and more details. That's what we need. Extensive, appealing detail.

I agree. The current one also has a brilliant story, and if I were here for Wolongs nonsense, I would probably be more drawn to the original design as well.
But now we are using his old scraps. He's changed the design for PANDA, right? The story that this coin tells is no longer as effective, at least not when comparing the faces. We're above the revengecoin we started off with. If we want to go above and beyond just a coin "to shit on Wolong", we need to get away from that ideology.
There will come a point soon, if not already, where keeping the current design will become an act of spite rather than pride.
