I told my mom I wanted to start a cyber cafe.
She told me she'd consider it if I gave her a business plan.
Where do I even begin?

think to yourself what you would do if stinky unwashed neets came into your fine establishment every day at 5pm for breakfast and masturbated to hentai under the tables while other patrons looked on disgust

what would you do anon

western culture isnt really compatible with cyber cafes as in japan & co., you definitely cant just transfer the concept, most people just use their phones for stuff and dont need a computer, in any case they wouldnt rent one

one angle you could go would be providing games and the hardware to just come and play, there was an anon who operated such a business some while ago and from what i heard the most profit he made was with food and snacks for the customer

I live in Pattaya and some guys from Kuwait have "gaming shops" like you can go and play playstation there it's open 24/7 but I think they just launder money

Also, only invest what you can afford to lose in Thailand if you are a farang.

The concept of a cyber cafe is absolutely pointless in a nation that has smartphones. Websites are essentially built exclusively for smart phones, not computers anymore. Now, if you wanted to open a cyber cafe in another country, and had a way to monitor it.. that'd be smart..

I think you guys are under the impression that I'd open a cyber cafe so people can just browse the internet.
I'm talking about a cyber cafe where people can play videogames.

>> No.16148846

Why not make a gaming hotel instead? At the very least you can just make it a hotel if the gaming hook doesn't work.

by understanding that you'll never make it if you're dumb enough to believe a cyber cafe would work in 2019, stupid brainlet.

Cyber cafe is a cool concept but not much of money maker. Just the computers+gaming stations needed is gonna be thousands of dollars. Do you plan on serving food?

So a PC bang. I live in South Korea. Why in god's name would you think these things are profitable? They're universally shit.
What you're going to find in Western countries is that people who want to play video games already own the computers capable of playing those video games, and unfortunately playing multi-player in real life next to your friends isn't popular anymore. This isn't the case in South Korea.

Only poorfags frequent cybercafé and they're nasty as fuck, there isn't much money to make on them.
If you want to open a business these days target at least somewhat young trendy (ie: rich) people.

Tabletop cafés are a big trend in the West these days and they are really just bars where you play games, you need a licence to serve alcohol though.

If you want to open in Thailand you should target tourists, expats and the upper class.

When you said cyber cafe I thought you meant a coffee place that had a cyberpunk theme and neon drinks

I didn't expect this gay shit from the 90s, why in gods name would anyone go to a cyber cafe when they can take a laptop to a coffee shop?

>> No.16149698

This isn't 2003 anymore, people used to go to these gaming cybercafé because it was the only way to play multiplayer games since most people had either no internet or a crappy 56k connection they paid a shitton for.
