When I hang out with friends (I pick my friends) I often get the disconnect with them. Let's say the bill was to be divided, almost everyone would accept except the bitchy one, I personally would enjoy the whole drama, because I most certainly could pay the full bill and it would be like chump change for me. Of course I wont because I'm in good company and they'd refuse or treat me like a king if I ever offer.

There are times however where I just want to treat everyone but need to be subtle about my wealth, I don't want them to see me as a financial crutch. Yet even when I do this and opt for the most middle choice and quality, my friends would appreciate it anyway and we all have a good time (as i wanted).

So it's a win for me all day.

We rent modern homes too when we go out, the kind you see featured on tv or magazines. We actually rented one of the sleek houses used in black mirror. Well, I do pick my friends, so they all mostly can pick their own weight.
