Yeah, no business owner in their right mind would use crypto as a payment system. Imagine if I had vending machine that accepted bitcoin, link etc. imagine the price fall out from under these. Then I’ll either have to reprice to reflect major inflation by devaluation or sell at a loss.

Imagine I was gonna but from my supplier with crypto and it devalued. That means I’m left holding the bag until there’s another correction or I’m gonna have to dip into my cash reserves/credit.

TL:DR most crypto is too volatile to function as real money but those types that are will never be interesting to neets or investors bc the prospect for gains are low

A smart contracts based crypto (probably Ethereum), Chainlink, and stablecoins like Libra are going to be the only widely-adopted cryptos.
Bitcoin will be digital boomer rocks and Monero will be used for illegal activity, by autists, and by glowniggers.
Everything else will be niche and will have a very low marketcap.

ITT late at the party, you will never make it in anything.
The people early in BTC and ETH made it specifically because they were enthusiastic about the concept and they weren't solely money driven like you "0 contribution" smug retards.

I wish you guys would just sell and fuck off to /r/buttcoin or some other Dunning Kruger shithole, you are obviously clueless and don't bring anything.

>>16110282
Shortsighted.
This will be fixed very soon, in the future merchants will be able to accept any crypto and receive fiat (either at 100% of 80/20 or whatever) without having to deal with middle-men like bitpay.

Maybe, maybe not. The thing is do you see theses same payment systems being used 10-20 years from now? Why do I have to look at a piece of plastic and type out a number everytime I want to make a purchase online?

My opinion is no and this is a dog shit way of doing business. A massive opportunity is there for something better.

USDC is also easy for normies to obtain, they can convert USD from their bank account directly to USDC
