I heard you can play with the firmware to restore locking support also for ETH and ERC20 tokens but honestly I wouldn't risk it unless you really know what you are doing, just get a nano S that is also cheaper

basically you "freeze" your account at a certain price; you cannot move your tokens until you "unfreeze" it. When you do, you will get an amount of tokens corresponding to the total $usd value you had before freezing.

I mean, it kinda does what you expect it to do.

now, if the price increases from the time you freeze to the time you unfreeze, you are screwed, you will basically get a lower amount of tokens (the rest is put in a locking reservoir)
