That's a ridiculously simplified view of things. You can take opportunities without requiring solutions to specific problems.

In the case of Quant, their game is about chain-to-chain interopability with multi-chain apps. But of course, their clients could benefit from a way to connect those multi-chain apps to external data via Chainlink oracles. And in reverse, Chainlink clients can benefit from connecting their oracles to Quant's multi-chain systems.

It's mutually beneficial, and I hope it works well. But it doesn't mean, whatsoever, that Quant, or any other start-up on that list, require Chainlink tech to function. Bearing in mind this partnership with Crowdz was announced months before Quant joined the Oracle start-up program as well.
