The moment is upon us anons. The time has come, and my prison of ice has been reduced to a puddle by the power of the alchemic fire. My senses are fully exposed now, I see the fire in all its glory, and I hear a beautiful melody in the crackling of the flames. During the next crescendo, I will cast myself into the flames and submit to their will, their remolding, their vision for me. I'll see you on the other side anons.

Why can't fatman announce staking finally. It'd send us to fucking Mars. Hopefully Oracles startups aren't a nothingburger, that could also work.

I'm not expecting much from the Oracle announcement. It's 50 startups which means 50 literal whos. Don't get me wrong this kind of official adoption is huge in the long run but i'm not expecting a lot of price action from it in the short term. Maybe i'm just jaded though.

He needs to get companies on board first. The 50 partnership's will come months before staking goes live.

I think exactly like this, there isn’t really any reason to expect much price action, at least not upwards from the announcement. In the long term it is very important though - and dont get me wrong, if we get good teams/creditors in the listed startups this might lead to positive speculation.

The real money maker here though is adoption. That is why mothing but staking matters at this point

Even staking will be a nothing burger during the first few months, the ROI will be shit and most pools will operate at a loss

Announcing staking might pump, but don’t get your hopes up. What really matters is when the first smar contracts start using link, and it actually works. Then the real growth will begin. Until then it’s just speculation.

These are hella bullish times though I can’t believe how we’ll link is doing during this BTC slump

I hope you can understand this; I bet you do, in the end you're a really reasonable person who does everything I say!
Now, about that Latte I asked you..

I think LINK is a great project, but it’s too late for me to invest. I only invest in sub 20 mill coins, unfortunately LINK has sucked in all the biz autists so I’m just gonna sit this one out, wait til you guys finally cash out and then start talking about new and up and coming coins. I know all the link fundamentals but I just can’t buy a coin over 20-40 mill.

This anon is right. Kek at these dummies thinking that staking will do anything without adoption. Lmao staking without usage will actually drop the prices.

crazy is that Fernando like wrote something that they still have a meeting today with all the startups, so i guess he just got them together now. Maybe there wasn’t to much intrest in chainlink or people didn’t get it.
if you watched his presentation, for people not knowing about chainlink, he was talking gibberish

They already have literally 100s of partnerships ranging from literal whos to Google. Staking is necessary for the network to operate properly.
There are only so many applications you can write using the price of Ethereum as an input. Eventually we need collateral to be put up so that more niche data sources can be used with trust.

were you faggots there to witness the start of the Ethereum ICO craze? all these useless shitcoins popping out it was difficult to see the value at first but with hindsight you can now see how bullish it was that everyone and their mother was running over to develop their shitcoin on Ethereum.
If you don't see this same trend developing with chainlink then SORRY! Don't know what else to tell you. You're just too retarded I guess. I agree with this anon >>16015011
