Hopefully they don't disappoint. I'm hoping for earnings slightly beat or at least met, with a good outlook. Ryzen 3000 sales are amazing and the GPU sector apparently does better than expected, too.

But from the looks of it, they're completely assraping Intel in both the server and desktop segment, with Threadripper 3000 doing the same in the HEDT market starting in November.

Meanwhile, Intel is putting up smoke screens pretending that 10nm hasn't been completely abandoned for desktop yet. Maybe Intel is going to get their shit together in 2022 with their own 7nm process, but until then, AMD has free reign and can ride on TSMC's gravy train.

porting skyrim and mindcraft on to things is just wants done, and them porting lots of recentish indle titles is them just trying to fill their library, but they are porting everything under the sun but the games I'd want.

Smash picks are very important, not only to shit post bad picks, but now that it's not self contained shows potential for collaboration between large IP holding companies.
though doubt any deals can move the stock.

So I was browsing the AMRN investor pages today. Saw some new doc about plans for Euro market expansion. Seems that they want to kick the U.S FDA's ass first then work on expanding out from there. A key phrase in the doc jumped out, namely that they'd be open for partnerships for Euro expansion. So this is maybe what John Theo meant when he said "expanding shareholder value" during the seeking alpha interview today. He was referring to the Euro expansion plan and the partnership angle. Which can mean as it says or perhaps in this case it means a buyout is in the works in order to smooth the way for Euro expansion as well as make rolling out the drug easier here once they kick the FDA's ass. Cause one thing is clear, they must have a way to create, ship, etc the drug in large batches once the FDA green light has been given, otherwise all the sales reps, all this work will be for nothing. For a small company mass production, etc would be a very hard thing to do. With that all now said, this is why again the buyout is the most sensible thing for them to do. They're waiting for the right time to strike a deal. When the stock price is high and when the odds of getting a Green light is very high indeed. The time after 11/14 and before dec 28th is the perfect window for this to happen. After 11/14 the stock will be flying due to them kicking the FDA's ass during the advisory meeting. The odds of getting final green light jump to 70% in favor. This happens on Dec 28th.

Is Berkshire Hathaway basically just a great mutual fund? Why shouldn't I buy it if it ever gets close to a P/B of ~1 (probably ~1.1)?
