$100k.

That's how much I've made between the ages of 20-30. It's everything I have in savings.

I literally cannot wageslave anymore. I'm putting it all in on BTC over the course of this month in a desperate hope for a 5x or 10x.

What are my odds of losing literally everything I've worked for? Is this recession going to fuck crypto?

Savings are only important if you plan to have a normal life and a normal retirement.

100k in savings is not bad at all for your 20s. If you invest that in something with a good long term return like index funds and keep adding to it for the next 30 years you will have a very comfortable retirement. Especially as your earning potential increased with work experience.

But a normal working life, and a normal old age retirement; that's not what you want, is it?

Yes. Basically Uber/AirBnb of networking. Insane growth potential and many other (they are now focusing on CDN) use cases are yet to be explored. Addition to mining rewards, NKN's huge clients will market-buy tokens for the service they get and give them to miners. Business side of this project is solid af. The token price does not rely on pure hype like other cryptos. No partnership crap, actual commercial contracts.

I enjoy academics I guess. When I was in college, I liked reading philosophy and psychology texts the best. I definitely wouldn't mind exploring social behavior especially if I knew my research was having an impact.

I also have a tradGF which I like very much. I think she wants to have kids soon, so I think a lot of the anxiety I'm having is finding a good 'job' rather than just crunching SQL (what I'm doing now) for an insurance company.

I got the GI Bill, so that would sponsor me for a post-grad for at least 3 years. That might be useful.

It's a tough world.
Most people that earn a lot of money work pretty hard, at least when they're younger, under 40 say.
There are exceptions, but they're the small minority.

If you're starting a family soon it's only going to get harder, but you might find the struggle more meaningful if you have a kid?

A lot of dumbass nu-stoic self-help gurus and pseudo philosophers have come along recently and you're probably familiar with it all.
But remember the old core truth they're all peddling.
A huge part of life is suffering, but you can't pursue happiness and comfort. That'll destroy you.

You have to find something meaningful that justifies the suffering.

>> No.15981326

That much money is not worth investing on crypto, most of us have invested money that we can lose and expect some crazy happening. Get into real estate, buy something and rent it, then get a loan, buy something else and rent it too, both rents will easily pay out the loan and you will be left with two assets.
I know you may want to play it like that and BET on a 5x but I wouldn't do that.

BTC is the safest bet you can make.
There's like a 90% chance of it making at least a x10 next bull run.

But the timeline you are looking at is like almost 3 years away.

Historically, the bull run happens like a full year after the halving, which is still next year. Expect crabbing, and dumps in every small pump, until then.

Sure, you can make a x20-x100 betting on other shitcoins, and do it in a shorter time period, but the chances of making it there are much lower (like 10%), and you have a very very high chance of losing like 95% of your investment.

If you have 100k worth of Bitcoin now, you've already made it, you just don't know it yet.
I'd rather choose the safe play.

That's tough, that's a lotta pressure.
If you were a single loser like most bizraelites, you could afford to make gambles in your life, like going all in on BTC, or quitting and trying to make it with a business or whatnot.

That's basically the best way to get out of the rat race... it's not a sure thing, but it drastically increases your chances of making it.
And you have a GREAT advantage, you have 100k in savings.
That's a HUGE edge that the
>>15980595
>5,000,000 other normies
that are also dreaming of making it do not have.

I was once in your shoes.
Burnt out by the daily wagecuck routine.
I realized just constantly waging won't make me make it.
I had to take risks.
Can't win the lottery without buying a ticket.

So I saved up a years worth of emergency fund, much less than what you have, quit my job, and tried various ventures all day. Writing mobile apps, online selling, online marketing, crypto trading...

I was lucky, I did not have the same pressure that you have right now. I could afford to neet all day, and if I ran out of cash, I could always live at my mom's and eat her groceries.

Then 2017 crypto bull hit and I was free.
I hope you make it too anon.

If Bitcoin fails to follow this model, then that proves Bitcoin (and basically any crypto) is not valued by the market as a scarce asset like they do with precious metals or real estate, and the entire crypto space was nothing but just a speculative bubble.
