Very unlikely hyperinflation is 50% per month inflation.
Usually caused by a failed government or a government default on their debt.
Very high inflation is coming.

You playing inflation via BTC?

no hyperinflation is when inflation starts to grow in anticipated future inflation.

No, hyperinflation is the collapse of a currency.

it wont save you anymore. it's easily counterfited. people just buy enough gold to plate over some tungsten bars and sell them. and the average joe has no way to verify the authenticity of the metal. to even verify gold you have to literally chip or drill into it. which is unacceptable in a transaction.

the US has been going though inflation since 1913

Lots of scenarios, but they're not credible scenarios. Most rely on false assumptions; nearly all the rest rely on impossible events.

Nixon completely eliminated most of America's hyperinflation risk by quitting Bretton Woods.

Hyperinflation is still possible if Uncle Sam incurs debt in a currency other than US dollars. Or even a commodity - some people are alleging the USA has a huge gold debt.

If it doesn't, there are hypothetically 2 ways the USA could suffer hyperinflation:
• It could decide to dismantle its taxation system
• It could be blockaded by the rest of the world.
Neither of those scenarios is credible IMO.

You're comment's rather misleading, as there are times since 1913 that the USA's had deflation. So too are there times before 1913 that the USA has had inflation.

Anyway, inflation and hyperinflation are completely different phenomena.
