Finally other (unlikely) shots could be impaction from constipation, diverticulitis, a neuromuscular condition of the bowel or finally maybe distantly a mass.

As for the next stage you'd want a full blood test, electrolytes and urea, CRP and a stool sample, I'd like to know the faecal calprotectin. That'll rule out a lot.

Finally you may need a scope but desu i think you'll find nothing and it's IBS.
