so I'm the only one freaking out about this ?
pretty much all other future platform cash you out in BTC so whale have an incentive to pump the price eventually
binance cash you out in USDT so you can make money even if BTC goes to zero ...

basically you have to use a vpn for most of them. Like bybit. You then throw money and make money by longing if it pumps and shorting if it dumps. The higher the leverage, the easier it is to get liquidated i.e. lose all your shit.

Say you do a 25x long with a 1k investment, thats like playing with 25k since 24k are burrowed. No loans so the most you can lose is what you throw in. Any gains are from the 25k and not just the 1k meaning you can make massive money.

Its honestly better than just hodling but its also a lot riskier

>> No.15958947

>>15958937
also, I would use bybit. I tested it out by makign an account with a vpn then turning off the vpn then turning it back on and they dont seem to lock your account.

You do that exact same thing in say bitmex, they lock you amd give you 8 days to close positions and take your shit out. Bybit SEEMS to be the safest place

It’s only as risky as you want it to be. You can short 1x to basically turn your position to virtual USD if you were so inclined.

Sometimes I’ll just short under my account equity to reduce exposure to volatility but still benefit from moons.

There’s no reason to not trade on a margin exchange.

Can't you avoid being liquidated by using a stop loss order? If this is the case, how is there any risk at all? This obviously isn't free momey or else everyone would be doing it, so what's the catch?

>> No.15960686

>>15960566
if you use cross leverage, or keep it to a maximum of 5x you'll be pretty safe. They make money on the degenerates that use way too much leverage and just get liquidated left and right. A stop loss will prevent you from losing everything yea, but bitmex has their own traders and can see every order in the book, which makes it very easy for them to trigger stop losses, then blast the price back up again, making you literally just lose your money cuz you had a stop loss.

Cross leverage and limit orders is a very safe way to make money if you know when to enter trades.

>> No.15960703

>>15960566
and of course there's still a risk with a stop loss. You still lose a fuckton of your stack, depending on where the stop loss is. On 10-100x, your stop loss will have to be pretty close to your buy in, which will result in you losing a huge chunk.

Nobody stakes that much you nigger. 50x+ investments are meant to be done with very small amounts because you're still profitable after being liquidated numerous times. It's simple math

>> No.15961068

That is a low estimate. Calculate their volume and factor In "listing" fees and it's obvious that their real profit is much higher. Regulators are going to fuck them hard at some stage but until then they will make a killing. Good luck getting out at the right time.
