Y'all been saying crypto.com is a scam but I just got my MCO Visa card today. Checked out the card issuer (Metropolitan Commercial Bank), and they check out. Reputable establishment in NYC.
Also the card looks and feels amazing.

Its a scam because they charge outrageous fees to buy and transfer coins to an outside wallet also if you lose the card they charge you $50

Then don't lose the card and only put money in that you want to spend. It's not that fucking difficult to manage money, man.

>> No.15947953

What currencies are supported? I can't find the list, but I hear they have quite a selection. Are all of the supported currencies going to be able to be used on the card? Really looking forward to instant and free purchases with rewards when spending nano.

>just pay $50 for the card goy

Or how about I just buy crypto on coinbase or any other exchange for cheaper and use a credit card for purchases that is protected against unauthorized transactions in case I lose it and replacement are free

Maybe im doing it wrong but i cant spend the money unless i first sell to btc then convert that to usd. You can't just send crypto to your wallet and spend it instantly.

>rebrand from Monaco
I've been watching this company since the Monaco ICO in 2017 and I'm pretty sure I haven't heard it being called a scam often, even back in the Monaco days. TenX, on the other hand, was verifiably a scam.
Yes, it took over two years for them to begin delivering the cards, but overall they've been transparent since the beginning. It's not easy to navigate the maze of international regulations when dealing with crypto.

>> No.15948640

There was some issue with them claiming they had 'a deal with Visa' while forgetting to both have one, or have informed Visa about it. That was hardly 'people calling it a scam tho', they more or less admitted they were lying bastards who fucked up there

Actually they have a trader who is so good they don't even need revenue. They made millions in profits just trading last year. Can't imagine how much they made this year.

is this bait?
this is literally the same cover bitconnect used (great trading bot).
if you think about it, even the concepts are roughly the same - you buy and stake their shitcoin to gain actual rewards (bitcoin for bcc, netflix and spotify for mco). eventually, the rewards get suddenly cancelled and the token crashes 95% in one hour.

I don't know if its a good or bad thing but Metropolitan commercial bank is Bitpay too. I have a Bitpay card from Metropolitan commercial bank. They were not allowing ATM debit withdraws for over 5 months up untill 2 months ago. Either way its not bad but not the greatest.
