Centralized therefore useless. The whole point of public blockchains is to be censorship resistant, decentralized and trustless. You get none of that with EOS, so a private blockchain would be the superior choice for any serious actor

its funny how people care about version numbers more than they do boosts in performance and scalability. people are quick to mention that "ETH 2.0 is not coming for several years" but what they fail to mention is that ETH 2.0 is coming in phases, each of which carries performance benefits. EOS is centralized. It isn't and will never be a suitable alternative/replacement for ETH.
