Imagine for a second that you have one person who knows about something. That person will most likely never share information about that thing until they are, for some reason, incentivized to. Note that "incentive" is a loose term here, and can refer to any stimulus, internal or external, that urges someone to do something. This is the basis behind some modern marketing strategies. If you can figure out an incentive that works, then your audience spreads dramatically. If your audience spreads dramatically, then you start seeing increased interest in your product. This creates increase in demand, which facilitates increase in profit, which facilitates increase in supply.

Now, all of this has been very basic economics and marketing so far. I'm assuming all of you could keep up to here. This is where we take a step into the real world. How is this a spoonfeeding?
