Monday’s are the greatest, no one goes out on a Monday. No one is smiling and laughing on a Monday. No one is home from work and no one is mowing their fucking lawn. Neets are sleeping in, wagies are already driving or taking the transit to work. You can walk down to any restaurant and find relative peace and you can order out and your order will be filled first. You get to chat with the Europeans if you wake up early and you can just take another nap if you feel like it cause you’re a bit sleepy after all those cheesy nachos or tasty treats. What’s best is you set a crock pot with delicious meats and veggies and you have a healthy dinner waiting for you when you awake from your nap, your entire apartment or house smelling or roast or chicken. Opening the refrigerator and saying fuck it, I love ice cream so you pull out a tub of your favorite brand. You play what you want and work on what you want, time stands still in that moment just for you. And after all is said and done, after you’ve had your fill of a lovely Monday, you go to sleep wrapped in deep blankets for the cold or a slight sheet for the hot nights and fall aslumber. Tomorrow is a brand new day.
