If crypto will be recognized as a store of value, then it will pump, if it's seen like a stock, it will dump.

Other countries are going to negative rates territory, in this scenario the fed still has room to play.

If other countries had sane monetary policies then the fed would be fucked but that's not the case.

How would it EVER be seen as a stock?

BTC will likely be near ATH 20k by the time this upcoming global recession manifests. At first it will dump with the rest of the global market, for two reasons.
1) It's breakeven point for many people who got in during the 2017 bullrun
2) People who stupidly invested more than they can afford will need to sell in order to pay their debts as the market crashes and unemployment rises

It's just like when it reached the previous ATH of 1100 for a second time in Jan 2017, then immediately dumped back down to 700. Once it reaches 20k again we'll see a similar 30-40% retraction down to 13k or so. That's when the bullrun starts

I think we're also in for a downturn especially with how much debt most companies are carrying along with the fact the overnight repo stuff the fed has had to step in one. Pretty sure we're in a similar situation as to when Lehman was insolvent overnight.

Combined with if DB goes down it's all gonna go tits up.

BTC never goes away...its part of the internet now. If it does go to 1k people will buy....we are in for a crab market for the next year....it might go back up to 12k or 14k before the halving but will crash again after it. We wont moon till most lat wealth is transferred back into bTC. We will see 50k BTC but it wont be till Tether is gone.

we are exactly in the track similar to 2008 crash, European banks being the catalyst, wall street playing along again, more risky derivatives , new CDOs will start popping up
Huge amount of money riding on vaporwave then the bubble pops
It wont the end of the world collapse of society everyone is heralding it to be but it will be severe this time
with the population increasing , the things we took for granted will cease to exist

I don't know what the fuck crypto will play in this
a paradigm shift is unlikely
