Sure I can explain. I went to UBC so I am familiar with the termite people. I made friends with one who showed me, their massive WeChat groups. They had one going called the “The Brotherhood” and they would all post and share their labs, reports, midterms and exams there for all of them to use. What made this outright deceitful was the Chinese TAs passing along midterms and sometimes exams if the prof was stupid enough to share that with the TAs.

I first noticed this in second year when I had little Chinese girl for a lab partner. She would bring in the fully completed pre-lab and lab every week and couldn’t answer a single question about it when I asked. Just pulled the “ME NO SPEAKY ENGRISH"

Guy who had a Chinese roommate for two years in college here. Any which way they can. In their culture if you aren't cheating you aren't trying. However I also lived with three frat guys and dated a sorority girl in college, and I can definitely say that the fraternities and sororities definitely give them a run for their money.

Basically the organized groups (i.e. frat/sororities) and Chinese (they're organized too) generally cheat their way through. The kind of smart kids who work hard grind their way through. The gifted kids, after getting over the horrible realization that this is a lot like high school, get through by understanding the material better.

Such is the way of the world.

So why arent there more whistleblowers for these things or underground students?

The indians in my classes didn't even have to take the freshmen and sophmore years, they just got bumped up to junior programs on day one.
In one class I was studying, happened to find the previous test's answers online. (The professor was Indian). So I looked at the next test, and it happened to be the exact same one we took the next day.
I had always wondered why the indians never seemed to struggle, while being completely clueless.

I don't know if this happens in most other American universities, but in the one I went to cheating was basically part of the program given the crazy grade curves that they gave out in the CS classes I took. I didn't even have go-to Indians to cheat off of until senior year because I got by on passing exams with 50's. I'm wondering now how much this will fuck us 20 years from now when the last boomers have died off and the current generation that graduated on curves rather than being smart has to solve real problems.
