Hi fellow NEETs. I'm looking for some ways to spend less on food. Would be great to get some recommendations. I would buy in bulk and I don't mind if I would have to eat the same thing every day but it has to be healthy and easy to prepare (or prepare once in advance for a whole week) thank you frens

You simply cook the sausages in the oven then let them cool and eat them with salad.

No crappy carbs...keto compliant.

If you want even cheaper buy minced beef and cook it with salt and spices. Cook a large amount then store it in containers in the freezer.
1 day before consumption remove 1 container from the freezer put it in the fridge to thaw.

You ever done keto and one meal a day? It becomes easy and its cheap and you get healthy. Helps if your stress free though,

Buy rice and pasta by the kilo, whole chickens, and mixed frozen vegetables. Easy. Roast a chicken every day, but make sure you let them marinate in a nice seasoning overnight. I like to buy piri piri, mix it with vegetable oil to make a marinade. This will prevent you going fucking insane from the blandness.
Also, the trick is to let the chicken get to room temperature after taking it out of the fridge before you roast it - stops it drying out, keeps it tender, and makes it cook evenly. This can take up to an hour depending on the size of the bird. It's done once the juices run clear and it's 165 F in the thickest part of the thigh. Let it rest for 15 minutes after cooking.

You might want to buy some bread and lettuce for sandwiches too. This is easy to buy cheap if you get to know what time your grocery store starts reducing items that are near their sell-by date. Just freeze them when you get home.

Buy oats in bulk and eat porridge for breakfast with orange juice to stop you getting scurvy. Also take a multivitamin, additional vitamin D, and a fish oil capsule.

I should add that what my wife does is cook a whole bunch of chicken, rice and vegetables in one go at the weekend then portions them up in containers for meals throughout the week.
