guys i need a quick rundown on linkpool token.

Im interested in getting a token but not sure what i get for holding it. Just the ability to stake first? Im trying to find some more hard info but just finding the usual shit medium articles

All you need to know is that they’re wildly overpriced right now because a group got together and bought everything on the market then jacked the price up by about 50x. Buy LINK, linkpool won’t pay off at these prices for 5-10 years.

my problem is im dog shit at computer stuff in general. i set up a node using the guide but thats as far as i can get as i do not have the skill to go past that. I was thinking if i buy the min amount of LP just to get to staking.

>> No.15599821

Lmao I just bought overpriced 0.64LP today. AMA

>> No.15599847

>>15599821
so the incentive to hold this is just to stake early right? Also whats the payout out for how much LP i hold? Like if i hold 1 will i get 5% pay out if hold 2 will i get 10% etc etc.

scam and link bots posting the same stuff over and over

Nobody knows the returns yet. If staking starts and demand increases, other pools will pop up, because the more LINK you have staked on your node, the more credibility it has which means more and better jobs. LP share won't get you anything either way if there is no big demand. And if there is, then other pools will pop up either way. Basically if you didn't buy LP at the start, then you're better off just buying LINK atm since some more "prestige" pools in the future might have some LINK limit, like 10k LINK minimum or something. That's just something I thought about.

You get dumped on at some point by their team, who own 3/4 of all the shares released, and have nothing preventing them selling this at all

i'd imagine most of the team bought up the shares as well .

>He STILL believes in the staking meme

Total interested collected by NEETs out of staking: ZERO FUCKING DOLLARS.

Jesus you people are dumb. There are stocks RIGHT NOW, paying you a dividend of 7-11% RIGHT NOW for "staking" their shares.

I'm beginning to believe crypto is where little babbies come with their first pocket money because opening a brokerage account with their bank is too hard.

You are buying a part of Linkpool the company. All money that Linkpool makes is paid out as dividends to share holders. You'll get the dividends, plus ability to stake early. When you stake, Linkpool takes a fee, which I think is going back to the Linkpool shareholders(LP holders).

Yes you get the distributed reward depending on how much you have lp shares. They distribute the rewards every other sunday. I have no idea how much I get link with owning 0.6lp, but I'll find out that soon enough. I'm trying to get to 1lp before it is impossible, I also have my make it stinky stack.

They didn't need to, they own 75% of it already. It's worse than Chainlink's distribution.

>>15600120
Last contract distributed 1666 LINK so doing some quick math, that's 1666 distributed to 4000 shares which equals about .4165 LINK per share.

Someone else in the thread said they distribute every other Sunday, which is probably only a temporary thing since it looks like its coded to distribute at every 1000 link collected. When usage ramps up that'll happen much more often obviously or they'll up the amount of LINK collected to trigger a distribution(much more likely)

Yeah my comfy levels are off the chart now that I'm sitting at 26k LINK and 1.4 LP.

Maybe if you're a total fucking retard. Would you have bought LINK at ICO? Why? It doesnt do anything right? You're buying it for the future, not for what it gives you in the moment. Theres only test jobs being done so of course theres not a lot of LINK being generated per share per week but come back in 2 years when staking is live and Linkpool is the premier node service(as anyone who isnt a retard can see) and theres a ton of link being distributed per day. Not to mention that the shares hold value, and that value has increased like 25 percent in a week. I bought a share a week ago for 30 eth, and already sell orders are being filled for 40 eth(also keep in mind eth is worth more as well).

>> No.15600896

>>15600846
cmon man. the 5k could be more link. I wonder what i could get away with for just buying like 2 or three eth worth

>>15600896
Yeah theres no wrong choice if you really believe in LINK, and it was a tough choice for me asking myself do I really wanna sell 4.5k of my link stack but I think in the long run I'll make back that 4.5k in rewards+I'll have priority staking+the share will still probably be worth a shit ton+free link forever.

Especially given burgers are scared to buy it I think itd be a good idea to buy now or soon.

Ayee I just really woke up today and scrolled /biz/ when a thread of linkpool came infront of my eyes. Then it just hit me "imagine how you will feel after 5yrs if you now try to get 1lp share"

Idk, it might all go down the toilet, but the passive income I might get is beyond this world. There are like what, something like 479 lp wallet?

>> No.15601080

You won’t need lp to stake your LINK, there are more than a dozen staking sites operating nodes right now which will offer staking as soon as it’s a thing. You’ll have your options.

Can we a how to do staking tutorial? With how much money a person would need to start. My plan was to flip some link when it moons then start staking.
There’s tutorials on YouTube but it’s not really clear at the moment.

Linkpool is planning to "borrow" their trustless contracts to every node listed in their market and allow them to become staking pools. Linkpool is decentralizing the decentralized market of decentralized oracle networks through decentralized staking pools.

They are the future. Eventually every pool will bend the knee to effortless pool staking contracts through linkpool and pay them a fee
