My grandfather had bad alcohol problems. He quit for something like a year once then one day, to celebrate, went to drink a beer. My grandmother and mother did not see him for 3 days until the cops called. So, after that, he join AA and became one of their organizers. He never had alcohol ever after. As a kid, I don't recall that he ever took a glass at family parties. He died, fuck I don't even remember how long ago, but I am sure he wouldn't have touched alcohol then either. Involve yourself with recovery. Your boss is a bad influence. Maybe try AA.
