unfortunately one doesnt make it with btc only, even if it goes x10 from now. What made 2017 so insane was that your shitcoin x20'd over a week, then you could x20 a new shitcoin. These days will never return

You might be right. Still amazing gains to be had but opportunities like ETH from $20 to $1400, or LTC from $4 to $400 will probably never happen again and if they do, it'll take place over a much longer timeframe as the market becomes more liquid and mature. Total crypto market cap is $250B, which may sound like a lot but it's still suggestive that there's at least one more major bull cycle before crypto either finds it's true price before the greater parabola flattens, or whether it's the last bubble before the inevitable big crash.

Also the problem with this "bull run" is that everyone seems way too...well, bullish. Back in early 2017 no one was screaming for 20k. Even 10k seemed like a pipe dream. But everyone in the crypto space, people acting like 50k is inevitable.
Really makes you think.

You are right. The bull run of 2021 will be 10 times the market cap of 2017's

Two things come in to play with hash rate. One is the halving is soon, so miners are currently incentivized to mine more.

The more cynical view is that insiders know these high prices can't be sustained for long and they want to mine and sell as many as possible while there are still suckers buying it.

This. Except OP is right in the sense that scams/memes will not moon left and right like they did in 2017. People are still greedy and alts will still moon, but it will largely be legitimate ones with at least some use case.

The days of logo changes resulting in 10x are over.

Regulation is coming. A lot of it is already here. Do you think institutions want to step into a wild west market like 2017 was? This is along with the fact that many investors will simply not want to get burned like they did in 2018 by holding useless/scam alts that went -90%.

I am not saying scams/memes will disappear totally, they never do. But they simply won't be as prevalent as they were in 2017. In 2017 you could buy literally any random alt and it went at least 10x. Not happening again.

I think you underestimate the capacity humans have for grandeur and delusion when we approach the peak on a speculative bubble
I thought the same thing after the 2013 bubble when I saw my alts crash 90%+, but it turns out it went something like
2011: bitcoin bubble
2013: bitcoin bubble + alt bubble
2017: bitcoin bubble + alt bubble + ico bubble
so I'm postulating posibillity for 2021
2021: bitcoin bubble + alt bubble + ico bubble + ??? bubble

There will be another bull run thats for sure, do you think no one is looking tru this space? An illiquid market with low iq investors is the perfect dreams for manipulators.

Jews are going to enter this space but they need for the chinks to die first. Next bull run is 2021-2025

It's better to think of these things as logical extensions:
>bitcoin
>digital gold
>altcoins
>digital currencies
>icos
>digital stocks
>???
This will be another asset class that is digitised. It could be like bonds, with companies issuing digital tokens that act as interest collecting debts. It could be digital property like a cryptokitties-tier bubble with everyone buying virtual property.
