Those alone don’t mean much. What’s interesting though is that starting from 1st of September, Bithumb’s LINK/KRW received huge volume, a total of 241M LINK within 7 days. That adds up to 400m$+. Insane. Volume this size is crazy alone, but coincidentally it also took place at this key support, without affecting the price much at all.

When zooming in a little, you can see the volume occurs in these weird spikes, out of nowhere. 40M LINK within 4 hours, silence for quite a while, another 40M. Wash trading doesn’t typically look like this. It seems like someone is executing OTC trades via Bithumb.

This is not the first time there’s something fishy going on with LINK and Bithumb. Only newfags dont remember that LINK on Bithumb acted funny just before the mainnet pump and the others following.

Koreans paid huge premium for a good while and when it was showtime, they also led the pumps, still maintaining the premium. This was because there was no way to arbitrage. I’m not sure if there still is.

Anyway, the following question still stands: why did the Koreans start to go nuts over LINK out of nowhere, just before the mainnet announcement? LINK had been in the exchange for ages already, listing wasn’t the reason.
