I'm going to tell you: take a step backwards and ask yourself why you want to do this. Keep in mind that most people lose money trying to ""invest"" and are actually just gambling. My first piece of advice is that you mentally separate the idea of "winning big" and investing / trading. There's strategy involved with this. It's not roulette.

The second piece of advice I can give is that you should really start a paper trading account on TD Ameritrade ThinkOrSwim platform first. Robinhood will beat you over the head if you have no idea what you're doing. Treat it as if it's your own money. Here's how it will probably go first:

>start hemorrhaging money because you have no fucking idea what you're doing
>take a step back
>start researching your own picks
>start making money
>decide to share your picks with /biz/
>get ridiculed and called a faggot endlessly
>sit back and watch your paper account grow
>after time feel confident enough to do this with real money

>start taking more precautions

One thing that got me was being pissed or depressed that my picks might make me 60-100 bucks. Then I decided to only wait for moon missions. Yes I do ok but I am not practiced so my timings aren't good and I am nervous during them and want to bail early and miss out on hundreds of bucks in gains.

Those 100 buck deals are very important because they are what give you the powder to take true advantage of those moon missions.

You might make 3 trades, net gain of +200 (lose on 1) guess what now you buy the meme of the week with 200 more, you double it and bam 400 more then you would have had if waiting for El Kahuna, and you are more used to the software/UI.
