Is silver the poormans gold? This shit is too worthless to and uncomfy to hoard in mass if you are not a poorfag. If i wanna fall for the pm meme hedge can i just buy gold, hold it for 10 years or more or whatever and be done with it?

Silver is more oversold than gold. Gold is -30% since ATH, silver is -80% since ATH.

That doesnt mean shit though. Vechain is also down -99% and definately not a buy.

Wasn't that because a few dudes were buying up silver like crazy in the late 70s, trying to corner the market and inflating the price before they got rekt? Would make sense that gold ath wouldn't be so inflated compared to silver.

to answer your question, buying gold means you ll bet on on a currency collapse or high inflation, if you are a europoor this is a good bet, amerifats currency wont collapse anytime soon

Hoarding physical silver is for prepper types who believe that, in a real emergency, good will be so valuable you won't be able to use it effectively for small transactions. Silver is a good intermediate-value metal. Some people even hoard normal US coins, some of which are already work more than their notional face value.

People who buy silver ETFs etc. are typically swayed by arguments based on the ratio of gold's value to silver's, which currently indicates that silver is undervalued in relation to gold (or that gold is overvalued in relation to silver, same thing.)

Those are the main arguments for silver over gold.

You wouldn't be saying this if the price shot up $700.
Then you'd have plenty of room in the safe.
Luckily by then, I'll already be loaded up.

I had a chronic tooth infection that I took antibiotics for which reduced it but when I went back to the dentist for a second prescription, they refused citing that it had reduced enough and I was not feverish and they had guidelines about issueing them due to resistance.

I ended up in a position where I was going to buy fishmox or make colloidal silver. I bought 2x 1oz bars of 999 and made colloidal silver. Started taking it, one capful every couple of hours, and within days the infection had gone.

I started stacking silver after this. I buy 1oz per week and have done for about 18 months.

I dug for 2 hours by hand today and got 2 grams of Au. not a bad lunch hour but not as good as my claim in northern bc.

Gold and silver are where its at right now, I just wish I could figure out a way to make my silver property economical to mine. I have asseys saying 2000 grams per tonne silver and 49 grams per tonne gold, issue is its very hard to access the site due to elevation.

yes silver is the poor man's gold. you need a lot more space to hold the same value and it's a lot harder to sell it all simply due to transport.

regardless the important thing is that you NEED to smelt down your bought gold/silver yourself to know you haven't been fooled by the company that sold it to you.

i see so many people on /biz/ posting all these fancy "pretty boy" gold/silver collections. they don't even realize they are just blindly trusting the company to send them what they paid for. Why the hell would you do that if you know your customers don't smelt down their shit to verify their purchase?

tl;dr if you see someone with pretty (stamped) gold or silver they are fools

>> No.15504416

Are you actually retarded?

No reputable bullion dealer does not check every single coin and bar for legitimacy. And not by smelting, there are tools available that can do it in seconds.

pff sure. even banks have tried to trick other banks by not shipping the right amount of gold.

Unironically silver is more important than gold, we will see a higher silver ounce price point over gold within the decade. Once the commie (((environmentalists))) take over we’re going full reusable energy. Most importantly, solar panels, electric cars, and soon to be electric planes. All of which CANNOT happen without physical silver.

If any company I bought from in Australia sold a single ounce of fake gold they would get raped by litigation from regulators, criminal prosecutors and customers. No company would take that risk just to scam a few people.

You must either be a nigger who cannot think into the future or from a shithole country that does not have any system adequate to stop nigger/pajeet-teir scams like counterfeiting gold

>Hoarding physical silver is for prepper types
No.

The argument for investing in silver is that fiat currency like USD is guaranteed to have decreasing buying power as years go on.

It's incredibly easy to just take some of your savings that will otherwise be lying around unused and buy silver with it so it retains its value or appreciates, so your savings don't vanish without actually vanishing.

no, you don't. Fake gold and fake silver comes from secondhand non-dealers. You sound like someone who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Brainlets, the silver to gold mining ratio never changed, since silver is a byproduct of gold mining. The demand for silver, on the other hand has been exponentially rising. ATH makes a difference.
