But altcoin investors typically hold multiple altcoins. The average alt investor that would go 100% on a single altcoin is almost NIL.

So if you bought LINK at the bottom, you have to compute the weighted average of all your other altcoin holdings. The chances are pretty slim that you outgained BTC if you held other alts especially since the dominance rose to 70+%.
