>look at this house in central Toronto, silicon valley, London or some other extremely desirable place to live where the salaries are insanely high but let's pretend this is the average house price nationwide! This is why I can't get a house, not because I have no qualifications, work at Walmart and blame my problems on boogeyman such as niggers, boomers, jews etc!

Seriously grow the fuck up. I grew up in poverty and would be able to buy a average house at 21 (with mortgage) with zero parental help, this is in the UK where it's much more "difficult" to buy a home as well.

Consumer price index has been going up for decades while wages earned have remained the same adjusted with inflation. And its not a tiny difference between the two. If you did any market research youd see that your being cucked just like everyone else.

Literal bullshit

The average UK house price is £230k. Even with a minimal 15% deposit (which is too low for most lenders) you will need to save up over £34k.

Average take home salary is £20k a year. At that level most people can only save 10% of their salary at most as everything else goes on high rent and other living expenses. Even if they could save 20% of their paycheque each month it would still take them 17 years to save up for the deposit on an average house.

The game is rigged. Fuck boomers.

I have frequently stated this is a growing issue with men. And option like the military, where (depending on the country) you have to waste your time with things like Basic Training.

Vocational courses need to be affordable and need to be relevant. So for white collar stuff (I haven't yet had much experience with the blue collar side of things) a heavy focus on inudstry relevant Excel, Accounting Software, Logistics Software like SAP skills; there should be courses with recognized certifications for that. In my own experience with vocational education, it's hard to find courses which give you all of that (with a certification and which is affordable), and yet employers ask for 2-3 years experience in shit like that - for Entry Level applications. And not employers buy the "I just youtube that stuff" on job applications, certifications are better.

Holy shit this board is indeed full of losers. Since when is it an achievement to save up 15-20% of a 300k house and pay it upfront if you're ~21?

That's like the bare minimum one should do. The hard part is to not slave away your next 45 years paying it off.

Jesus christ you guys are a lost cause

I agree. I bought a house at 23 with a first time homebuyer credit. It required 3% down.

Did I buy a house next to the city? No. But I found a small house in an area that had a lot of advantage to it that needed some fixing and it's perfectly functional.
