Let's actually discuss the future of markets in the upcoming decades.
We've had stock markets as a rising phenomenon in the 19th and 20th century, with the new Blockchain technologies we could easily reinvent our concept of investment in businesses.
Even what we define as businesses could change radically. Once they were simply "companies" sent out by the crowns of Western Europe, the meaning changed with time as their main focus was profit.
We got anonymous imageboards where the access to threads is restricted to donators, huge online marketplaces where you can freely buy, sell and rate products, sites like Fiverr where participants provide services for a fixed amount of cash, countless websites with a subscriber based model and banks that hand out credit for a negative interest rate. Things are seemingly changing at a rapid pace and all you care about are some bs shitcoins. Discuss the most important thing at hand: How else will individuals redefine the economy?

dubs of truth spoken, my brother and I are making cbd and vapeshit, business is bretty gud. I wish I could transition into serious technology but everything is expensive as fuck and all the equipment for this is getting scrapped and shipped to China. Fuck Milton Friedman, Alan Greenspan, the Bushes and the Clintons and all the rest of them for the free trade bullshit.

Western Civilization is fucked. The future is United Statos Del Americanos and the European Union of Islamic States, neither of which have an average IQ over 80. All scientific progress tops, and most technology falls apart as brown niggers can't understand white technology. The End.

Are you really sure that jobs as we know them will exist in 20 yrs from now? Most jobs could be entirely automated. Even if they wouldn't be automated, it would make much more sense to be to see work as a service to be sold rather than paid for with a salary.
How would taxes even work if every transaction became anonymous?

Blockchain's primary purpose is to keep all participants honest. We haven't had anything close to actual free markets since 1913. That'll change once BitCoin becomes the norm and Marxist central bankers (planners) can't manipulate money.

The honesty of the technology implemented relies on many factors. You cannot trust Facebook and other corporations in that regard, which is why their projects have clearly no long-term prospects.

From one end, dealing with governments and business that operate using the state infrastructure, like courts and dollars, you actually have a public system of redress that you can argue over and receive if your case is better prepared (this means spending more money on lawyers but that's how the system works)
On the opposite end, the fact that it makes no difference means that people who engage in crypto commerce in a neoliberal capitalist economy dominated by fractional reserve banking/counterparties on wallstreet with insider information may as well play war against the government in the same vein as the Waco Branch Davidians or Tim McVeigh. They want to have their cake of crypto and eat it using the fork of neoliberal capitalism, praying all the while that the cake will make the empty fork taste better permanently.
I myself am waiting for and working towards the ultimate dump where the electricity spent mining crypto will cost more than the economic benefit it provides of a decentralized currency, when shit hits the fan so hard that it will no longer be feasible to trade because shit is so fucked up. What Marx taught me was that economics is nothing more than the study and measurement of the mechanics of modern political domination in the most autistically fine-grained terms.

Different ID but samefag:
What I mean to tell you all is that the game of Capitalism is a shitty rigged game, and there is an alternative towards which you should be working; complete and total personal autarky enabled through cheap and ready automation/intentional communal living like the Amish (but with computers, internet, transport and modern medicine)

Here are some resources concerning this, mainly from one guy.
Fundamentally, I think economics is about organization of resources to gain as much as possible for oneself, which at times conflicts with the macro level, the stated purpose of which is about maximizing it for everyone without it being at the expense of any one group or class.
