>> No.15304595

Never been on one nad have no desire to go on one, but my guess is theres a few issues.

Millennials are poor. The only "affordable" cruise lines also attract niggers, so you're in for a bad time. I've heard one caters to them and is called the "ghetto of the sea". Throw in the highly publicized outbreaks of norovirus, and no wonder millennials aren't cruising.

t. millennial who actually could afford a cruise but they look boring and degenerate AF

>> No.15304609

Scientifically speaking, if millennials are going to be more abundant than baby boomers, is that because the brainlets running the demographics are counting zoomers and younger into the millennial demographic? Or is it because baby boomers are so abundant and the intersection in population is finally crossing over as they die out?

Instead of being a smart aleck on the internet an jerkin your prick to the computer screen all day why don’t you try doing something useful for once like mowing the lawn. You’re just like my no good lazy son. No grit or drive. It’s pathetic. When I was his age I busted my ass to pay for my own college and had enough left over for a corvette. Now I’m sitting pretty and enjoying my retirement income and social security. Hard work pays off, kid.

Because flights are so cheap these days that for the same price of a cruise I can just go to the island and not have to spend days in a cramped ship hotel room.

Airbnb and the airline industry's race to the bottom on prices has created a buyer's paradise.

Cruises were a cheaper alternative to island traveling. Now they are trying to compete with the resorts since there is no longer a fiscal wall to get to the destination.

it dont work like that. Cruises were pretty much ded in the water (see wot i did etc) till the liners discovered Boomer spending power and pretty much cut their entire offer to fit, as floating 24/7 casinos + restaurants with a ship attached. NOW, the problem - GenX'ers cant be doing with this crap, even less so than millennials, they are too cynical. Where you can still get them onboard is with (for example) music - http://www.theboatyweekender.com - thats about 2500 of the cunts who paid about the same price for a weekend afloat. The issue with all of this, naturally, its not cross-gen compatible. GenXers dont want to be stuck in a confined space with Boomers, reminds the of childhood traumas, and boomers dont want to listen to Mogwai @ 110db three times a weekend. And Millenials dont have the money, but, they are more likely to be vapid consumers and Instagram dross producers than GenXers, and thus should be, in theory, caterable in future. tldr, its not Millenials who are cruise liners problem, but GenXers, who simply DGAF, especially not about shit like this

>> No.15305973

I was comped a Royal Caribbean cruise by a client, otherwise I’d never have gone on one. It was fucking boring, the food was terrible, and every port on days ashore was a filthy shit hole strip mall with nasty beaches. Literal human shit overflowing from the bathrooms onto the floors and sidewalks at one point.

When you’re not ashore? You get a great view of fucking nothing. Endless ocean. It’s offset very nicely by the ambient thousands of rude boomer patrons and screaming dipshit children. If you need to numb your senses, be prepared to spend upwards of $20 on a trashy cocktail because it comes in a light up souvenir cup you will end up leaving behind.

The entertainment consists of a few themed night clubs and a series of highly skilled divers diving repetitively into a tiny pool. You can then head over to the old creepy uncle themed nightclub to hear overweight, bald men sing the same fifteen Sinatra covers every night in exactly the same way. Once the more vanilla guests call it a night, strap yourself I’m for a sexy, racy night on the top deck drinking another $20 cocktail while someone’s sugar baby flirts with the bartender along with a light dusting of throw up burps.

If you’re a real risk taker, wake up early, finish your plain yogurt, microwaved bacon, and powdered eggs, then head up to the rock wall. I stress getting up early because you’ll have to line up behind hundreds of people to do anything. Once you conquer your fear of people and heights, wander over the pool and throw caution to the wind as you backstroke through 10,000 gallons of chlorine, piss, last night’s cum, and someone’s strawberry daiquiri.

I could keep going, but I don’t want to spoil the grand adventure that awaits you upon the high seas
