Don't. Trust me. A life of debauchery is not everything it's cracked up to be. I'm a financefag and have a bunch of friends who are in the business as well. A lot of them did just what you want to do: they graduated college, moved to the big city, and partied like there is no tomorrow.

Most of them however are unfilled, quickly burning out, and are addicted to alcohol or drugs. There's a solid chance many will be dead by 40.

My advice: find a career/business you sort of enjoy and that will allow you to pursue your hobbies. Also search out religion. I rediscovered the Catholic Church about a year ago and its completely changed my perspective on life. I am much happier and more fulfilled now than when I went around being a degenerate.

I would recommend self-serve laundromats. I plan on getting into this business someday. They generate a shitton of cash and it's a fragmented industry. Most of them I've seen on the market generate a 25% or 30% return on capital. In other words, you buy one right now for $100k, it's pulling $30k per year, you invest that in a money market fund to get some extra interest, and in about 3 years, you'll be able to buy another laundromat. From there you let the magic of compound interest work until you have a local laundromat empire generating tons of passive income for you.

This is more or less what I hope to do. Short term plan is to save up for a home and start a family. Then use any discretionary income that's not going to my 401k to begin my empire.
