Does anyone else wonder if they're sinning by trying to become wealthy? I don't even want to live in a mansion or drive a Ferrari anything, I already have a comfy small apartment that's all I could ever want for a home and my car is perfectly sufficient. All I want is the power to make positive change in the world, the power to give my loving parents the wonderful and long vacation they deserve, to keep the soup kitchens stocked and the homeless shelters heated, to leave a legacy as a charitable philanthropist. But you need money to give money, and I'm a bit paranoid that the pursuit of wealth in and of itself might be sinful.

No. It depends on what you do to make that money. If you're conning people, e.g. teaching people how to be rich when you haven't done it yourself, then it's unethical. If you're genuinely providing a good or service that people want, you're good.

we aren't supposed to do things for us, but for His kingdom, and whether we are rich or poor, God will use us to do what He needs us to do
Always remember Job, and that everything you has is by the grace of God, because He giveth and taketh away
as long as you honor Him in all things then you shouldn't ever have to worry about sinning
also your alms are supposed to be done in secret, not for self-glorification

All I'm saying is that this life is not perfect and was never meant to be easy because people are bad. But if we trust in Jesus, we are promised paradise fren and we are forgiven of all the bad things we've done. Just stay devoted to Him as best you can.
