And it's not about "hurr durr magical lines right 100% of the time" but it's a risk management tool and even with a 90% failure rate if you lose 2% and gain 50% each trade you win in the end?

TA is equivalent to climate modelling in its deluded attempts to graph and predict an utterly chaotic system.

30 year trader here.
TA is somewhat of a meme in crypto. Its 99.99% bot controlled and since its a 24 hour market things arent as predictable as say, a Nasdaq or Dax. All those BARTs are proof you cant rely on any TA on a short term basis, but if you zoom out daily, weekly, monthly TA becomes more predictive.
If you want TA predictiveness, stick to stocks and forex...I would say bonds too but no one here trades bonds because they just have the attention span of a goldfish (even though TA is huge factoring in bonds).

Ascending triangles after/before a BART is quite normal pattern though, just protect the downside.

That may be true, but if that happens at 6:38 on a Sunday morning or 1:17a.m. on a Tuesday, you can only stare at it because it happened hours before in your sleep.
