CME futures: They were "paper" futures, it allowed people to bet on the spot price of BTC falling, without physically owning BTC, for the first time ever.

BAKKT: Same as above, except when a contract is cleared, there needs to be a physical delivery of BTC. On top of this, BAKKT will take care of custodial services (storage) for big institutional customers.

Let me break that down for you. BAKKT will hold BTC for big money.. Do you understand the significance?

you can move this market 15% a day if you have enough money, i'm not saying bakkt will dump the price to zero i'm just saying that they will just keep it under control and "tame it" just like gold
there's more money to be made shorting or longing daily 5% moves than just pumping the market
