Why do you idiots keep shilling coins that based on their own metrics would go to zero if they gained any adoption?

Tokens only go up in value if you have to hold them for some reason. That's why the entire crypto ponzi scheme is predicated on HODL memes. Problem is, 99% of shitcoins are designed and promoted as actually being used in some degree.

Think about it this way: If McDonalds required you to start using McDonalds tokens to buy food that you had to get at a little booth before the cash register, the token velocity would be super high. You would trade USD to the McD tok', then trade that immediately for food. That leaves no room for price appreciation.

So again, since everyone is talking about muh adoption, why don't we talk about how real adoption won't do shit for price or worse tank the price?

What is a chainlink node, OP?

All decent projects are aware of this and create metrics that encourage holding. Ethereum will even have it soon.

LINK is nice but it can't be the only one with that kinda system right? I also don't like PoS that much because it creates new supply that can be dumped on me. Give me good velocity and gain potential, not a top 20 boomercoin like LINK.

LINK not only encourages staking but also benefits from a high price due to collateral, the tokenomics are the best in crypto...you won't find anything better than link.

EDGE/DADI has nodes that run computations and web-services, and that have a certain amount needed to stake (depending on the grade of the node). Its not inflationary, all node payouts are from customer revenue. And its working on mainnet with live production traffic since some time now already and provides up to 10x savings over AWS. The node stakes have a certain lockup period, so token velocity is significantly reduced.

Yeah but how much room to grow does LINK still have? It would need a general crypto boom to grow further. It already has the best partnerships etc. what can still happen? I want a LINK that is still in its infancy.

You have to remember that an absolute useless shitcoin like XRP reached over 100 billion marketcap, link hasn't gone interstellar yet.
