There are certain major things throughout your life that you have second doubts about from your memory. They might happen one way in the moment but later on will be remembered slightly different. This is what is known as the bleeding effect. Time is an insanely weird concept. When a timeline is changed, it doesn't split but instead merges slowly or quickly.
