I got into crypto around April 2017 as part of the huge wave of newfags that came after ETH pumped so hard. Like most newbies, I put some money in BTC, ETH, DGB, STEEM... All of them already pumped, obviously. That’s what happens when you don’t know the market and have no idea what you’re doing. A few weeks later both Reddit and 4chan were all screaming about their huge gains thanks to the AntShares run and everyone talked about it like it had been expected for months. I remember feeling completely lost. I had been breathing crypto for weeks and hadn’t read about AntShares at all. Not a single time. And all these people were like “What?? You’re not holding ANT?? What the fuck are you doing then? This was the most obvious pump of the year! It’s the Chinese Ethereum for fucks sake!”.

So it was basically the equivalent to LINK’s run with all the newbies buying at $2.4 and old holders making fun of them.
