bitcoin cash is literally so irrelevant now though that no one cares/wants to try

Why bother?

The entire bcash hashrate is smaller than the capacity of blockstream's new mining facility by itself. Utterly just.

2 pools mining BSV (both owned by Calvin Ayre) can 51% this piece of shit straight away

the fact that it isn't attacked proves that the bitcoin system works. it's better for miners to
1. have a backup chain
2. just keep mining on the most profitable chain
think about it, what's there to gain from doing this? you'd basically need to be buying gold bars with bitcoin cash and wait until you've received them, THEN you reverse the chain.

it's no small feat, BCH still have a MASSIVE amount of hashpower. if you don't pull it off you've lost a ton of money because every minute you spend on BCH you aren't spending on BTC. and if you're just on BCH to mine empty blocks, that's also just a loss since you're mining on the very thing you're trying to destroy.

also, forgot, BCH has centralized checkpoints now so reversing the chain becomes even harder if not impossible.
so while it's theoretically possible for BTC miners to shut down BCH or BSV in practice they won't.

Btc folks came to the rescue in the past. It’s still a newer project and bitcoin did the same shit, that is rolling back the blockchain when they got hit with their own 51% attack early on. Nothing is fool proof with all the million dollar scams nowadays anyway.

Literally why would anyone waste their time 51% attacking this piece of garbage? LMAO
