Literally every single LINK related thread should be anons posting pic related. Whether it's research, positive or FUD. What's the fucking point in being anything except lazy towards LINK now? Honestly if this isn't the very fucking bottom of the massive descending wedge, which also coincides with the HTF long term support line since the beginning of our move up, then I'll be investing in kneepads.

LINK is going to run to $10 in the next month or two, guaranteed.

The last thing I put in the effort to read was Alex's post about threshold signatures. It was good, I learned some stuff. It doesn't matter anymore though. Nothing's going to drastically alter the course that they've been on for five years, and nothing's going to change the fact that smart contracts need data and a robust, standardized mechanism for ensuring its validity. At this point it's a waste of time to think about Link unless you're a smart contract dev or a literal autist who needs to stim by researching breadcrumbs. Best of luck to those who know.

That's the least of the concerns, what should concern everyone is that literally anyone can do exactly what link does. Wait until AWS, Apple, Google etc. launches their own method to connect smart contracts to off chain data. It will happen. It will kill link. If any one of those players, or any of the countless others, actually needed link, they'd have bought them out long ago.

Unless those companies launch their own decentralized oracle network in the next 2 years I seriously doubt they'd stand a chance at taking over Link, no matter how big they are.
You have to remember that smartcontract the company was founded in 2014, you can't just build an oracle network and have integration with (literally) hundreds of projects overnight.

It's hard to make comparisons to other industries, but the closest I can think of would be ford or GM trying to take over Tesla in the EV market. Or google creating a rideshare company and trying to overtake uber. Brand recognition and being the the OG (like bitcoin) matters more than you think.

Except your comparing very advanced, proprietary EV tech held by a very large well financed organization to oracles. If you don't think AWS or Google could throw 1000 of the worlds best coders onto a decentralized oracle project and have it up and running in a few weeks or at most months, you don't understand the scale and resources they have. Yeah, the absurdly small dev team can totally be compared to Tesla.

Also thanks for making my point. No one has heard of chainlink. Industries will flock to the names they know and already work with. Best case scenario for link is Oracle startups work out great, and Oracle buys them. That's the reality anyone should be hoping for as it's really the only likely way they control the space.

Google is under antitrust criminal investigation dumbass. They don’t want to be in any way responsible for creating “a coin.” Facebook decided it’s a good idea to launch its own currency, and they will regret doing so. Google will use a partner or third party they don’t technically own to do things like this. They can’t be seen as “creating a currency.”

Understand?
