>watch a programmers vlog
>he works at a tech company in London
>he works from 9-6 regularly and in the week he vlogged he worked until 7 or 8 pm multiple times

How the fuck do people cope with this? How do you get anything done in your free time? Exercising? Reading?

I get to work at 6:30am and leave at 7pm. I mainly pray to kek for LINK to moon in my free time.

it’s rough but possible to work and spend 2 hours on a hobby in addition to exercising and cooking food. After a while it will beat you down and you’ll end up chilling after work, but if you get a lot of external validation before you give up it can keep you on the path. Anyways I quit my job to pursue my hobbies

I don't know OP. I've done 12 hour shifts before on rare occasions where it was especially busy and we were low on staff and my boss begged me to cover for someone, and I was given extra pay for it. But even then it was NPC tier. It was literally just wake up, drive to work, work, drive home, go to bed.

Anyone who does this normally, no matter how prestigious the job is a total NPC slave.

I quit my 9 to 6 job because of this. Most people in the office lead regular lives and enjoy it. The get out, binge on junk food and empty entertainment. Some do some excercise. I don't know any of them that did anything mildly interesting.
So, if your life is your job you'll do fine. If not, find something else.

Me too, I don’t understand how people accept 45-65 hours a week for a lifetime. It’s slavery.

It's a sacrifice, but it can be worth it.
My wife used to work 12 hour days, 6 days a week as the first employee of a tech start up. She hustled like that for 2 years. Now she's director level and will be able to retire as soon as the company IPOs.
When you're young it's all about the grind, you'll have plenty of time to relax and coast when you're older. Plus he might actually be passionate about what he does.

It's worse. They actually enjoy it because, to quote them: "it gives me something to do. the fact that I get paid is a bonus", "it gives me a purpose"

>Exercising? Reading?
LOL no. They don't do that.

From me waking up to getting back from work and gym, 12 hours have passed. I never skip gym these days because I only save maybe 30 minutes sitting in rush hour traffic. All the same, I wind up with about 4 hours to myself, but I'm always mentally drained.

Having a job and being useful can be a very rewarding experience. You should try it you smelly NEET. Even if I were rich I would still work, it's enjoyable to solve problem and feel accomplished

Not at all bait. Whether raising a family, or tending a farm, or building a company. It's important for the human psyche to feel like you're accomplishing something. A hard day's work can be a good thing and very rewarding. You should try it sometime.
Although I will grant you that most wage slave jobs like retail and shit like that suck balls and don't count

I coped, but at the end I just blew all my hard earned money on coke & hookers.
You do have some time for social life, but it's mainly after 12am so it's pretty much casinos, blow and hookers. I couldn't make my mind to go to a gym after work.

Currently a semi-neet as I just gamble on pump & dump patterns for an year now and I believe I've solved the game.
Earning well over £2k/month with <2hr work per day
