>partnered with centralized organizations for said "decentralized" nodes

What the fuck are they even doing anymore? This isn't what I was promised.

You may as well just get your data from the companies themselves in the contract and ignore LINK altogether. I can hire my own Jason Parser to hand me the report himself.

Dont forget you need KYC + interview to be accepted as a node operator. the absolute state of "decentralized" networks. but its pointless to argue with them, they are too invested to not be emotional. they will defend this scam to the very end. just let it go and laugh once it inevitably collapses

They lack the PR but I'm convinced a group of bizlets can get that rocket to the moon while the coin is not on any exchange yet.

Bitcoin was the same in the begining. Node operators were known by the community and thus Bitcoin was never sybil attacked. Once the network matured a sybil wasn't economically viable. The same will happen with ChainLink only this time crypto is widely known and the team needs to centralize the network at the beggining to protect it. SN=SN do your own research

No. All of LINK's node operators are well-established companies that go through rigorous interviews and have and faces attached to them.

As someone who actually mined buttcoins in '09/'10 I know for a fact that all you had to do was download/run the miner and (ideally) join a pool. How is that at all like what LINK is doing with their operators? I couldn't run a node even if I wanted to because of this KYC bullshit. Decentralized my ass.

All Sirgay is doing is growing a network and hoping the decentralization issue will just magically resolves itself after they get big enough. It's retarded.

What the fuck do you think a "pool" is, retardanon? It's literally a known source allowing you to commit your hardware to the pool THEY manage in exchange for a piece of the pie their pool is earning. Pools are operated by an individual or a company, they are the PoS equivalent of a node that allows you to stake with it. Literally every early pool was started by a known forum user who people trusted to manage the pool well enough to dedicate their hardware resources to solving blocks for the pool.
