I'm rifling the pockets of the corpse of 2018 and have found an interesting project called Datawallet.

I approached this by looking fro the projects with highest funds raised to current mcap ratio and Datawallet takes the cake with an astounding 40 million raised to 1.2 million current mcap. I spoke have friends that are close with core members of the team and they cashed out the vast majority of their funds raised and are sitting on a stack right now that would make most mid-caps seethe.

Here are the cliff notes of a recent article that will be able to get the uninitiated a good primer on what they're hoping to achieve. Linkies might be interested to see who the early investors were :^)

>Company creating data silos (Datawallets) for companies and individuals
>Confirmed Fortune 50 partner already (tba)
>Marc Benioff CEO of Salesforce as an equity investor plus Tim Draper
>"Datawallet’s vision is extraordinary: that people should be able to control and sell their own data,” said Tim Draper, Founder of Draper Associates and DFJ. “I backed him very early as one of the top students at Draper University, and now his company Datawallet is making this vision a reality. This company looks to lead the decentralization wave in the data space.”
>Went stealth mode and price dropped before recently doing a 100k USD giveaway for app signups

Thoughts on lads? Anyone had success in microcaps?

Don't touch it. Dead alts stay dead forever. Buy 2019 projects, brianlet. UND.

That's not necessarily true there are many projects that have come back. 2017 was a face melting anomaly we dunno how everything will react in the medium term.

I bought a small bit already like 2 weeks ago and will probably double stack. With smallcaps like these you know you might be kissing your money goodbye but I really don't care.

Neat find, OP.

But do they have any customers? I know a lot of /biznessmen got rekt on DXT in 2018. I never quite understood why their utility token would capture value, unless a lot of companies bought them to pay for data - and that "tokenize everything" model is so 2017...

I know I didn't buy in because one of their showcases was psychographic hiring which is as retarded as it gets.

Also: only small exchanges, no way this will generate volume.

Partnerships are not customers. A partnership driving price 5x was 2017.

I am looking for crypto projects with confirmed customers only.

the entire world is their possible customer base. Normies download extension and get to permission/sell their data

developers build apps and can suddnely build apps that take advantage of previously silo'd data (amazon&fb)

This is what i'm thinking if it catches on it will be absolutely massive. There is risk involved obviously but the upside is incredible
