The price of Honeycomb's API is WAY too high.

They want to charge anywhere from like 0.110 LINK - 0.243 LINK (~$0.26 - $0.56) per call, and if you're a node operator you still have to pay for your gas (~$0.20 per call) and other costs related to operation (monthly hosting $~100-200)

Not to mention the average payment is 0.1 LINK per call from the heartbeat currently...so they are charging more per call than what current heartbeat nodes even make...let that sink in...

it was more or less obvious that the chainlink ecosystem would be to costly to ever work in the real world... too many cows at the trough..... just to make a simple contract you have to pay CLC, LINKPOOL, and ETH.... way more expensive than traditional APIs and most companies have enough trust that decentralization doesn't really matter to them
