I know there's already a shitcoin named MUSK but why doesn't Elon start a shitcoin? He already made a flamethrower so why not a shitcoin? Everything out there is pure speculation anyway so why not have market sentiment based on launches and progress towards reaching Mars.

Crypto is still in a weird place legally. The regulation isn't clear. Someone like Elon or any large corporation's legal team is probably advising to keep away from the fundraising aspects of blockchain especially after the Libra debacle.
