As the IRS letters are flying in with demands to pay tax on crypto to crypto trades, I have good news for you. Most exchanges are not writing trades to the blockchains, they only do if you transfer out of the exchange. Thats why all intra exchange trades are not real, and must be tax free.

Interesting concept. You gonna try that one out though?

Serious questions, with so many exchanges, most of them operating outside the united states, which ones are obligated to report trades? Binance did because they grew so much, but what about smaller exchanges.

Do you really think the blockchain could handle billions of trades per second made by bots on various exchanges?

Who/how does Binance report trades to?
What criteria?
What if you never verified your account and no KYC - 2BTC withdraw limit but how on earth do they know it's you?
I am sure binance usa later this year will require KYCand report to irs but who does chinese/malta binance report to.

This is not a concept, but reality. With a good attorney, the IRS would have no chance in court.

This is what I've been saying all along. If you trade on an exchange you never actually received anything, you were never trading say, btc for shtcn. They just marked that you did, but you never had access to the funds or wallet, meaning not your shitcoins or bitcoin, meaning you never traded. Your entry is howmuch you sent to the exchange total, and your gain is what you pulled off the exchange minus what you sent to the exchange.Despite over 69 quadrillion "trades" being "placed" or even more, there is only one taxable event that takes place here. The greedy satanic disgusting kikes who deserve to be killed in the streets tried to set up the laws to fuck us over, but they were too stupid and ultimately wound up writing it in such a way that we pay less in taxes. Now they are sending out threats and using intimidation tactics because they know they fucked up. The hope is that you will be a bitch ass little bitch and pay them whatever random exorbitant sums they pull out of their ass instead of going to court over it and showing that only one actual trade was made.
If they want to tax crypto that's fine. I'll still try to get out of it as much as humanly possible, but if they would at least try to write a law that makes sense they will probably see better luck when it comes to collecting. When the big day comes I think we should spare a few of the government workers, mostly the lawmakers and all IRS employees. Instead of a fast bullet or death by hanging I want them to be slowly tortured over the course of weeks. I have a folder of methods to try on them. No two people will be killed the same way if I have any say in the matter.

No. The nature and wild life is gone. But hey, we have SUVs now. Thanks.
