I want to get back into it. I was looking at GBP/JPY since it's probably my favorite pair (EUR/USD is decent too although less fun), and I could've made a few trades. Next week I'll try to start doing a trade a day or two. Since I last quit, they have introduced both binary options and "countdowns" (which is pretty much like a binary.. below or above the exit point after a certain time, and you make money) at my broker's. So I figured I'd try a 1 minute countdown, basically guess the direction it'll be going in for the next minute. If I could just make one of those a day, I'd be doing enough. Need to find the motivation though.

You need to switch to candlesticks, and check further back to decide wether it's worth buying there or not. I'm too lazy to log on now and check it. I think it usually does that on closing (friday) though, so I wouldn't read too much into it, and I wouldn't trade first thing on monday either (although I guess you could make money off of this pattern).

I'm learning futures because I wouldnt want to waste time learning forex because it wont be long before the US and EU ban retail forex. Its already happening US SEC recently banned retail forex broker dealers like Interactive Brokers and Belgium recently banned retail forex.

I agree futures are better because you get soo much more useful information like real volume at bid/offer and COT reports vs in forex the regulators have but all the ECNs out of business so you never even get near the real liquidity your only available counterparty is the bucketshop market makers.
