One thing to elaborate a little more on. LINK market cap, dominance, etc are all underestimated on CMC as of right now. With the new tokens in circulation, market cap should be 2% higher than it is right now. That would actually put us back comfortably in rank 16 above IOTA if it were reflected correctly in CMC's calcs.

I don't know for certain, my favorite theory is that someone is trying to associate LINK token holders with AMB token holders such that wallet metrics sites will show "95% of wallets that hold LINK also hold AMB". So when LINK truly moons and people are looking at the next project to get in on the ground floor, they will notice that all these people who were so prescient as to get into LINK at $0.20 are also all holding AMB which has yet to moon (it will probably be worth a fraction of a penny by that point).

I don't have any special knowledge about wallet, I just take numbers from CMC and work to make sense of them.

There have been 12 transactions to date, and no I don't have any special knowledge about Sergey's plans with this wallet. They may continue until it's empty, or they may hit some fundraising target and stop for the forseeable future. Nobody knows.

It's important to note, though, that it is NOT a foregone conclusion that they are selling these tokens. Either market dumping or OTC. Certainly the price action since they started their movements doesn't seem to reflect an 8-million token market dump. It is entirely possible they are just obscuring wallet movements as they move staking stacks into their partners' wallets (maybe the 50 oracle startups?).

But it's all speculation, nobody knows for certain.

I like those theories more than the market dump theory, not because I'm deluded (though I may be that) but just because I really don't think the price action reflects a huge 8-million-token dump. I do like the binance dex liquidity idea, either that or as a reserve for margin trading going forward on the main site. It would neatly explain why all the tokens are hitting binance but not being sold (seemingly).

I think if LINK becomes the industry standard for all defi, including derivatives and insurance contracts, and if enough LINK needs to be staked in each of these contracts to cover the value of the underlying asset, then 1000 (not necessarily EOY, but sometime) is FUD. But this is predicated on a LOT of 'ifs'. I expect Chainlink to hit some of these 'ifs' but maybe not all of them.

If I am being realistic with myself, I think smart contracts will make great headway in a lot of industries in the coming decade, but people expecting a sudden paradigm shift overnight to 100% smart contracts for everything all the time, are as deluded as those people who were expecting a real price singularity in 2018.

I think a 'realistic' target within a few years assuming LINK hits its targets (staking, collateral, reputation) and gets modest adoption by small-medium players is something like $50-100. But that would be my estimation of its underlying value only. There could easily be a speculative bubble that boosts that number to a peak of $200 or $300. Just my best guess, I could be very wrong.

I can't speak from a 'foreigners' perspective. I was born in kiev months before the soviet union collapsed and parents moved stateside. I went through k-12 but my mom sent me back almost every summer until my teens to kiev to spend time with family. Vacationed a lot in Crimea late 90s, early 00s. Speak Russian fluently. My mom's college buddy at 50 volunteered during civil war and has some crazy stories. It's a shitshow in its own right but kiev is absolutely beautiful and the woman are fucking 8-10/10s on average compared to what passes here. I've been around the block with American women but i absolutely refuse to have kids/start a family with one.
