What do you think regulation will do to crypto?
Will trading it for USD even matter?
Will big money move into crypto during the recession?
What's your take anons, spoonfeed a brainlet

>> No.14946223

I'm a brainlet but money traditionally flows into assets like gold in times of recession or inflation, and I like to hope that bitcoin will come to be viewed as another asset of this class and so can be seen as a hedge against inflation etc.

But what does that do to crypto? The majority of regular people will put it into bitcoin, the institutional money probably will as well, with a bunch of shady whaling behind the scenes. We know that huge pumps do to sheer excitement blow up - and if btc is the vehicle of choice, the classic issues of slow times, huge fees will be a problem. Say an entire group of people's first experience with crypto is a triple digit fee and week long wait. Thats not gonna be good.
btw lurk more its all silver here baby

I’m hoping it sees an influx of quick cash and it will moon and then slowly rise.

However, it will probably collapse, when everyone tries to withdraw. Somewhere between $100-1000 I think. Then it will start to be adopted as a real currency because all fiat collapsed. From there is will slowly and steadily rise. Become affected from inflation.

That’s just my 2 cents

You genuinely believe all fiat will collapse? Why?

>> No.14946473

>>14946314
A few reasons. All fiat currencies in history have collapsed eventually. Why are we special this time? Fiat also can’t compete with the bitcoin technology (blockchain etc). I think bitcoin right now is like dial up internet. This is just the beginning this crazy internet money. I have always drawn similarities between them both. For what the internet did for communication, Bitcoin will do to money.

Not with a 1mb block limit it aint. Look to BSV with their aggressive scaling plans for the future of blockchain tech.

when people don't have power, including wifi, servce, etc because they cant afford it, what then?
>implying it'll just be a "recession"
the bigger the bubble, the harder the crash. and this economy is in a massive fucking bubble.

No. BSV is garbage and Bitcoin will not kill fiat. Fiat will become fully digital and will work as if always has, for daily purchases and paying taxes. BTC will be gold 2.0 for the millennials and zoomers. Will be a slow process...probably take about 10 years.

>> No.14947177

Btc will drop...maybe lose about 80% of its value at the time. People will panic and need money for bills, only the stubborn will keep their magical internet money. They will weather the storm and join their new place in the upper .0001% of the world economy.

What do you mean "meme" tier? You are seeing the birth of the new blockchain based internet, where many apps are going to be hosted on the blockchain to ensure censorship resistance and allow for a revenue model rooted in pure market driven incentives that instant microtransactions on BitcoinSV allows for.

In just 2-3 years from now, the world is going to look quite different. The 4th industrial revolution literally starts here.

Welcome to MetaNet.

Why did all you BSV cultists start writing Bitcoin as "BitCoin"? My guess its that your cult leader slipped up and revealed his ignorance yet again and you all decided to start miming him to make it seem deliberate.

The biggest app is a weather app that absolutely nobody uses or cares about. This is not meme tier, this is utter shit tier.

The fact that only ONE app that supposedly "no one cares about" can get that many transactions should tell you what the possibilities of the network is. All you need is one major existing company onboarding their services to the chain and it goes parabolic.

Of course only possible on BSV, which means there is literally zero competition for functional blockchains.

Corecucks getting nervous

TRV and other good alts will be totally fine in the event of BTC collapse. Not worried.
